A Familiar Sight
I’ve been seeing a lot of this lately:
That would be the ultrasound/exam room ceiling. And I will be seeing it for the next couple days as well. My appointment on Saturday showed several follicles measuring around 8-9mm, Monday around 10-11mm, and this morning around 12-14mm. They are looking for the most mature group of follicles to be in the 15-20mm range before triggering. So, I will return tomorrow for more monitoring and then again on Friday and possibly Saturday. At this rate, we will likely trigger Friday or Saturday evening, which means the retrieval will be Sunday or Monday morning.
It would be easier to wait a few more days if my ovaries didn’t feel like heavy, expanding rock-balloons crowding my internal organs. They have grown from noticeable to uncomfortable over the last couple days; today being the first day where it feels difficult to sit or bend or walk at a reasonable pace. I am ready to get these babies (unintentional pun) outta here!

I think that your body is telling you to hold out to Saturday – it knows the universe produces nothing but good things on April 9th.
Ooh, that’s kind of a pretty ceiling, all things considered. I like the colors. Sorry you’re so uncomfortable. :( Hopefully, if those follies are going to make things all crowded in there, they’ll have the courtesy to productive! Hang in there just a leetle while longer. xoxo
